These plastic boxes are relatively safe. Among the three common materials on the market, only polypropylene is heat-resistant and can withstand a high temperature of 200 degrees, so it can be heated in a microwave oven, but other plastic materials cannot. There is also a paper lunch box on the market with a thin layer of polyethylene plastic coating inside. This lunch box can withstand high temperatures of 90 degrees.
3. We should pay attention when heating food in a microwave oven. We cannot use ordinary plastic containers to hold food. This will deform the container and even release toxic substances to infect the food during heating. It is harmful to health after eating; it cannot be used. Metal utensils, otherwise they will heat uncooked food and damage the microwave oven.
